Computer & Internet course:
This course titled "Computer & Internet" will run for 18 weeks for 3 hours each class.
This hands-on beginner course will help the learners get up and running with their computer, teaching them how to make the most of the many features available. Starting from the basics, the topics will be covered to the key features, parts of computer and apps/ software on the computer, mastering computer settings, getting connected to Wi-Fi or internet, using email & messages, using ZOOM to attend class/meeting, using google maps, downloading apps, doing various tasks, using the internet for study purpose, finding & applying for jobs etc.
The course is designed to assist learners to use the computer and internet for a range of requirements:for studying online, to research, to prepare documents, to communicate through emails, to set reminders, for finding employment, for reading google maps and what’s not!
This course addresses employability skills which can be used beyond the learning settings and also offer options to further study the 'Computer next step' or'Preparation for employment' courses and employment pathways
Bookings are only confirmed after receiving completed enrollment form and payment.
Unless a class is postponed or cancelled by SKCC, refunds and transfers are only considered when a written request is received 10 days before your course begins. An administration fee of $35 applies. No refunds are given once a course has commenced. If you fail to attend a class that you have paid for, you will not receive a refund. Classes may be cancelled due to insufficient enrolments. If your class is cancelled by SKCC, you will receive a full refund. SKCC reserves the right to alter or postpone courses, or to change fees, teachers or locations if unforeseen circumstances occur.
If you enrol in a Pre-accredited course, we will require additional information. You will need to fill in a detailed enrolment form.
If there is a medical emergency, you authorise SKCC to seek appropriate care on your behalf and you accept full responsibility for expenses incurred.
