Digital skills - iPad for beginners
This iPad course is a beginners course, which is carefully designed to empower individuals with the foundational skills needed to confidently navigate and utilize iPads. This course goes beyond basic functionalities, incorporating practical applications, personalization, employability, and accessibility features. This course provides a hands-on, engaging and user-friendly introduction to the essential features and functions of the iPad - where the trainer will guide the learners step-by-step technological skills.
The course is designed only for the NDIS clients - to assist learners to use the iPad, technology and internet for arrange of requirements: for studying online, to research, to explore creativity options, to communicate through emails, to set reminders, for finding places& reading google maps, for finding employment etc!
This course addresses employability skills which can be used beyond the learning settings. It offers options to further study the ‘Advanced iPad courses’, specialized training courses to enhance digital proficiency, computer course or accredited courses for certification(cert i, cert ii) in digital literacy and employment pathways.
Class dates:
1 FEBRUARY 2024 – 28 MARCH 2024 and
18 APRIL 2024 - 20 JUNE 2024
Time: 10am - 12:30 pm
Duration: 18 weeks
Cost: $10 per class
Tution fee $50 and Course materials & amenities fee = $130,
So the total fee is $180. So per class fees comes only $10.
This is the concession rate for the NDIS clients.
Bookings are only confirmed after receiving completed enrollment form and payment.
Unless a class is postponed or cancelled by SKCC, refunds and transfers are only considered when a written request is received 10 days before your course begins. An administration fee of $35 applies. No refunds are given once a course has commenced. If you fail to attend a class that you have paid for, you will not receive a refund. Classes may be cancelled due to insufficient enrolments. If your class is cancelled by SKCC, you will receive a full refund. SKCC reserves the right to alter or postpone courses, or to change fees, teachers or locations if unforeseen circumstances occur.
If you enrol in a Pre-accredited course, we will require additional information. You will need to fill in a detailed enrolment form.
If there is a medical emergency, you authorise SKCC to seek appropriate care on your behalf and you accept full responsibility for expenses incurred.
