New  Arrivals Road Safety Driving Program

SKCC runs a Road Safety Driving program for newly arrived people. The program is supported by VicRoads Community Road Safety Grant.

The course is made up of 5 theory classes & funded driving lessons. The course will teach you about traffic signs, road rules how to drive safely and how to share the road as a driver, pedestrian or cyclist. After completing the classes each participant will receive 2 FREE driving sessions.

Who can join? :

  • Aged over 21 years of age
  • Learner permit holders
  • Migrants / CALD /Newly arrived people living in Australia for 5 years or less.

Term 1, 2024 – Wednesdays

Class Dates: 28 February 2024 - 27 March, 2024

Time: 5pm - 7pm

Duration : 8 weeks (Once a week - Wednesdays)

Delivery: Face to Face at SKCC

Terms and Conditions

Bookings are only confirmed after receiving completed enrolment form and payment.

Unless a class is postponed or cancelled by SKCC, refunds and transfers are only considered when a written request is received 10 days before your course begins.

An administration fee of $35 applies. No refunds are given once a course has commenced. If you fail to attend a class that you have paid for, you will not receive a refund. Classes may be cancelled due to insufficient enrolments. If your class is cancelled by SKCC, you will receive a full refund.SKCC reserves the right to alter or postpone courses, or to change fees, teachers or locations if unforeseen circumstances occur.

If you enrol in a Pre-accredited course, we will require additional information. You will need to fill in a detailed enrolment form.

If there is a medical emergency, you authorise SKCC to seek appropriate care on your behalf and you accept full responsibility for expenses incurred
